Visiting several folks as I gear up to RWA 2012 National Conference. Old friends. Family. This is just some pics of the garden I've been staying at.
If that sounds like I've been sleeping in the garden ... Not quite. But I spend a lot of time there.
I have been interacting with many children.
This is somewhat exhausting.
You may picture me eating cherries and hotdogs at the end of a long day.
Very pretty garden. I love river pebbles in a garden. And is that an old pepper tree in the last photo? Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThere are some old California trees around the place. Sometimes I can guess because they have fruit on them. Not that one, unfortunately. It is a large but, to me unknown, tree.
ReplyDeleteSouthern California got to be popular for reasons... looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteAll the trees are full of hummingbirds.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot to rest your mind before the chaos of RWA descends! Enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteChaos is a kindly description. This year, however, I plan to take it very easy. No worries, says I.
ReplyDeleteI was over at your blog earlier, complimenting your cover.

Lovely garden, very California. Wish I was going to the conference! Next year, next year. Atlanta is closer to me than Anaheim!
ReplyDeleteI almost certainly won't make it to Atlanta. ;{
ReplyDeleteAh well. I will enjoy this one. Carpe diem.
Very pretty! Love the roof tiles.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like most is the incongruity of the plastic slide and tire swing. Keeps the garden from getting too full of herself, which I imagine she has to combat against, being as she's so beautiful and all.
