Spent a few hours at Starbucks this morning. Got some work done. Polished some words.
I'm still putzing around amid the earlier chapters -- chapters I would like to think are finished. I'm trying to make the hero's POV deep, masculine and tortured. I guess I'm maybe getting a bit closer to that. Or maybe I'm making it awkward.
I can't measure progress lately. I don't have a 'finished 3000 words today' to say. Just a 'quibbled and quibbled my way through a chapter and a half and changed a hundred fifty words.'
