Me, talking about books and the writing life

I'm HERE, at WMRA radio, talking about writing books and my life and my philosophy of storytelling and probably a few other things thrown in.

At the top of this interview I give an extemporaneous reading of an excerpt from The Black Hawk just to let everybody know why I do not generally attempt to give public readings that involve characters with British and French accents.

I think this pretty much established that I have no future as a voice actor. I have reluctantly crossed that off my list of things to do when I grow up.

I wouldn't cross that ambition off your list yet :0) I listened to the whole interview- it was charming. Every time I read one of your blog posts or articles I will imagine hearing it with your voice now. I do think your Justine was better than your Adrian- he sounded a little more Western (US)than English (UK) but I thoroughly enjoyed it and the host was very pleasant too.

  4. Oh. That is so kind.

I'd like to think I help somebody else write. That would be just wonderful.
