As an actor as...Thanks Jo, this post speaks to me. As an actor as well as a writer POV is huge for me. The character comes into the space to DO something. I try (not always succeeding) to put my body into the POV character and focus on his or her goal. The scene is all filtered through the eyes and ears of that character. Anything else that sneaks in feels false. This little lesson will go next to your "How to do Backstory". Thanks! But if there's a sentence that just isn't coming out right ...<br /><br />noun strong and vivid<br />Verb full of action visuals<br /><br />Then we ask what the sentence is supposed to do.
